Area police departments have established recommended hours for trick-or-treating in their communities, as follows:

I like this thread and I'm enjoying the graphics and pictures of the season.
One year I played spooky music via a loudspeaker hidden a few hundred feet from the house. I had a wireless Mic so I could insert appropriate words and sounds. Some of the kids backed away from the house and had to be urged by the parents to come up our driveway .
Happy and safe celebration to all.
As for me, I'm going to spend Halloween sitting outside, like this, waiting to give out candy (factory wrapped, sealed, and air-tight) to anyone who dares venture close :) .

Hahahhaa, Skipper should try wearing a costume next time. I will probably use the same outfit I used for my avatar picture .
Great reminder about factory wrapped candy. Not just folded wrappers but air tight seal. That way you can tell if the package has been punctured. Unless it is from someone you know.
Happy Halloween. Now isn't that a religious holiday?

Do you recognize anyone here, like yourself? Congratulations on some creative costumes. Where do you get these wild ideas? There's some real talent here.
