I know that there was a recent thread here about camps, and Wyanoke was mentioned. I just happened across an old photo of my grandfather, who along with his brothers was a camper @ Wyanoke in the early 20s. My brother had the picture, and I had never seen it. The format I saved it as (after scanning and touching up in Photoshop) is not acceptable to the forum, so until I scan it, I am just posting the link. It's pretty cool to see what kids were wearing @ summer camp back then...

Very cool. I've been there. A family we grew up with had roots there -- the father went as a boy -- and they used to spend a week of "family camp" after the place closed in August. Classic old-school camp experience. Beautiful. I am going to ask family members (my grandfather was one of five brothers) for any other Wyanoke photos. We still have his old swimming medals (just as I still have mine from Belknap).
