I am looking for a place to get my 8yr old Golden bathed, groomed and trimmed in the Merideth area. In the past we have brought her to PetSmart but the second she gets into the store, she knows it and starts shaking and whining. I was hoping to find someone that might do it out of thier house so we could wait there until she was done.

There is a gal on Route 3 north of Meredith, almost into Holderness (on left side of road) who does doggie daycare, grooming ... I don't remember the name, but you can probably Google and find her. Alternatively, ask the folks at the Meredith Animal Hospital for recommendations ... or, the Moultonboro vet has a groomer (Meadow Pond 253-7701) at their site on Route 25, just up from Aubuchon.

She does a superb job. Of all the places I have taken my dogs this is the only place where any of my dogs do not get nervous before entering. She is so gentle with the dog current.

Since the topic is pets, does anyone know someone that will give a cat a bath?

I don't have long/thick enough leather gloves :D

Moultonboro area.

I know the original poster of this thread asked about dog grooming in the Meredith area, but I wanted to share info on a GREAT groomer in the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro area. I just had my black lab and shih-tzu done by Kari (Pronounced carr-ee) Lauber in Tuftonboro. She used to do mobile grooming, but now has a very nice home grooming studio. She was great with the dogs and had that "dog whisper" approach (firm, but relaxed). My dogs were very comfortable with her. I have decided she will be their year-round groomer when I move up here. HIGHLY recommended.

You can reach her at: 515-0027

Moultonboro area. Doesn't your cat clean her/himself? My 15 year old cat is licking up a storm as I type this.

This cat has diabetes and seems to have problems bending around to take care of the aft end.

I am sorry to here that. My last cat lived to age 21. She was barely cleaning herself at that time.
