I have a 1963 10 hp Johnson outboard that I'm looking to get rid of.

I've tried both Craigslist and the Classified here on Winni.com to no avail.

Are there any marinas or collectors around the lake that buy used motors?

I'm willing to personally deliver it.

Thanks in advance!!!

...there is an antique marine related auction in Wolfboro next month? that would be ideal for that item...I "think" the web-site is www.nhbm.org ...happy hunting...jc?.does it run.?..and what are you looking for money-wi$e.?..

...it ran 20 years ago when we used it as kids.

It's been stored in a dry, warm basement since. I'm sure if you're handy it would start.

I'm looking for $250 or best offer and I'll deliver it.

Try Jay's Marina in Winnisquam. Has a few older outboards in the showroom. May buy it from you cheap or just have it donated.

1963 10HP....Learned to ski behind a row boat with a 1963 10HP Evinrude. (same motor under the skin). $250 seems steep, it is close to what my father paid for a new 10HP Evinrude in '63 (it was an end of season purchase)

Dave's Motorboat Shoppe has several old motors in the show room and shop. Perhaps contact them.

I restored an OLD Johnson and when I contacted the company about parts they suggested Thurstons.

A friend of mine sold several 50's and 60's vintage outboards + assorted parts to Fay's in Gilford.

a few years back my dad donated a 1 hp outboard to the Museum when it was at the weirs. It was in the family since it was new. I think they gave him a slip of paper that he could use as a tax write-off.
