Hi Guys, Ladies
I am looking to re-spray the canvas for the boat and jetski.
What can you recommend to use, and where can I get it either online or the lakes region
Thank you

Parafunalia carries some canvas waterproofing sprays. I've been happy with their offerings, can't recall the name/brand right now, but I seem to recall it was one of the common ones.
Sorry for the vague info.
If you have sunbrella fabric they recommend this:

It works great but is a little pricey. I've also used the Starbright stuff, it also seems to work.

I've been using the 303 product for the past several years and have been very satisfied with it. You can find it at many marina stores, Parafunalia, etc.

just curious, how often should you apply the waterproofing?

I would guess that different products have different recommendations, and you will just have to compare the products: cost vs. ease of application vs how often to apply etc..

My covers are 10 years old and don't leak - Sunbrella. So, I don't know, every 11 years?
My sunbrella stuff never seemed to leak in the fabric, but the seams leaked. The first time I coated the whole top as a preventive measure, because the covers looked a little old. After that I just touched up the seams.
When new the water just beads up and runs off, as it ages the water soaks in a little but still doesn't leak. Recoating brings back the beading for a while.

I find that when the level of my wife's complaining out weighs the cost of materials and hassle of application. :D Don't tell my wife please.:rolleye2:
I am currently just about at the tipping point myself if it ever stops raining.

I also have Sunbrella, it is now 4 years old, no leaks. I was thinking more of preventive measures, I'll take Grady's approach.

Wise guy. We've had the recommended for Four Winns 303 High Tech Fabric Guard for a couple years now. With this last rain, it is obvious that it is time to finally apply it. Our boat is a 2002.

I found that annual touch up with the spray bottle works best. How long it last depends on if you are in covered slip and if the canvas is allowed to be dried out or stuffed in boat locker all season.
Get a 1 or 2 gallon pump sprayer (can be used for many things like spraying shrubs for beetle control, etc)
Works awesome to get nice even coverage.
