Who knows what happened in Moultonboro late this afternoon?

Snowmobile accident. I believe there was one injured. No condition status.

Did it happen on the lake itself? It can be dangerous with current lake conditions. Without picks on the tracks if you are not careful on the throttle (or brakes) you can wind up finding yourself spinning out of control and catching a snow spot and flipping.
Also, I rode almost 100 miles today (Wed. Feb 23) - Sandwich, Squam Trails from Moultonboro to Plymouth. I know conditions are about to change but there are some icy corners on the trails and some trails are hard packed with concrete like snow conditions. Be careful and ride safe.

I believe it was about 1/2 mile out on the ice from the dam.

You can flip so fast it's unreal. A number of years ago I was making a slow 10mph or less turn on an icy lake and hit a spot of snow. My old 86 Formula was on its' side so fast I never even felt it. Luckily the only thing it hurt was to remove a NHSA sticker.
