I watched the movie "Grown Ups" this weekend. After doing some research, i found out it was filmed on winni. Does anyone know where? thanks

I thought it was Chebacco Lake in MA? But, there are ties to the area in the movie. Kyle Brooks, the boy who played David Spade's young character, is the grandson of a NH Lakes Region woman. For such a young age, he has quite a dance career in the works. Hopefully this movie will be only the first we hear of this talented youngster.

"Click" was on the other night. It also had piece in it of Adam Sandler as a kid camping on Winnipesaukee. Dunno if it was actually shot there. Funny movie, alot of truth in how we fast foward through our lives.

The vast majority was filmed on Chebacco (notice the lack of mountains surrounding the lake), but there are a couple of quick scenery shots that certainly look like Winni!

I just saw it this past weekend too. Not the best movie ever but it was better than Punch Drunk Love with Adam Sandler (still trying to figure that one out) I thought the 1st lake shot looked just like Winni. Adam Sandler wore his UNH t-shirt and and a couple of others wore amoskeg t-shirts throughout the movie

We saw Grownups this weekend too and I thought that it might have been filmed on Winni. I did a quick google while watching and found that it was filmed in MA. I thought that it might be Winni originally because of Adam Sandler's roots in NH and his frequent sightings around the Lake. He gave New England some plugs with his hats and shirts showing UNH, UConn, and RI not to mention naming the lake Amoskeag. I always thought he was kind of a dufus from his early movies but this one had a great cast and was fun to watch. He's turned out to be one of NH's favorite sons.

Couple of scenes of Lake Winni used, but not at all filmed there.
The restaurant scene is actually filmed at Woodman's in Essex. Great spot.
