Thanks to newbiesaukee for letting me know where I could find The Mount in dry dock, so I could drive over to Center Harbor and take some pictures of her being worked on.

That's a nasty looking vertical crack in the rudder.

Looks like fresh paint on the bottom already. If the bottom paint is "Anti Fouling", I would think the boat is going back in the water in the next few days or less. Normally, when that type of paint is used (at least in salt water) the boat is relaunched very soon afterward while the paint is still fresh, otherwise the "Anti-Fouling" properties are diminished/lost if the paint drys out thoroughly.
Then again, maybe the paint is just ordinary enamel. :look: NB

I doubt its anti-fouling as if it was it would come off in the water and pollute, I would think.

Yes, that is fresh bottom paint and no, that is not a crack in the rudder. She's out of the water for paint, hull maintenance, and new rudder bearings and will be back in the water ASAP.

Could you let us know when it is going to be relaunched. I'd love to get that on video. Unless you could do that for us to see. That would be awesome....:D Should send that into WMUR.
