Alright Folks, pardon this thread if it is too similar to "Winnipesaukee Personals", but I promised my buddies I would ask. We are embarking on the final weekend guys trip to the lake in about a week. We are looking to go out and have a good time around the lake, and they have expressed interest in meeting ladies of a similar age (23-26). Now I have had a place in Tuftonboro for about 14 years (well, my parents have) so I'm very familiar with the Wolfeboro establishments. However, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on the other side of the lake (Meredith or The Weirs etc) for places to go that might have some people around. I know that the season is winding down and not a whole lot of people will be around but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you on behalf of myself AND my friends.

I just had a "guys" weekend. We did some work on the place then headed to Weirs. We went to the Paradise Beach bar on the strip. The Band was good and there were people there of various types ages etc. You might give that a try. I've heard Oriental Garden is OK as well. Good Luck and have fun.

You could try the Senior Citizen Center. I heard that Saturday night is really hot, with some wild Cribbage games. And when they turn up the boom box real loud, and Ed Limpsalot and Sally Kantwalknomore do the jitterbug in their wheelchairs, you know things are going to get hopping real soon....

It looks as though Mr. C's has been raided by the Webmaster too.

Could it be at Mr. C’s if it is a B.Y.O.B. party?
What time should everyone arrive?

Absolutely, but it would also have to be BYOG too. We don't have many 23-26 year old girls laying around.

OMG, now I'm not even sure if there ever was a Mr. C's, or even a Mr. C for that matter! Do I even exist? I'm sorry, but I'm having a very bad day. I'll have to check with my other personalities and get back to you. I just hope they still exist.

Oh Wow... Multiple personalities????? Does that mean we have multi-themed drinking establishments, just like "city lights" at Universal Studios. Is that Emeril I hear in the background "BamBamBam!!!!:" :rolleye2:

Hazelnut, thanks for the help. Sounds like some good suggestions. Beyond that, I am pretty confused. Although I might take Upthesaukee up on his senior center idea. As for Mr. C's, sounds to me like we can have the same sorta thing in the back yard with the campfire rippin and my buddy the bartender mixing some wicked elixirs. If Mr. C cares to drop me some directions we could always work on the BYOB & BYOG if you're up for a party.

I wonder how many names the Webmaster goes by? I've been called many things but I prefer Webmaster or Don.

Since these multiple personalities and GTO (I can't connect him to the others but I have a funny feeling) seem to be determined to inject Mr. C's into every thread they (he?) can, I have put all the aliases involved on the moderated list. Messages from these aliases will not appear until they are approved.

We all had a good laugh over the Mr. C's thread but now that it has been discredited it is time to put it to rest. There are many casual visitors to the forum who don't understand that it was a joke and I'd rather not have them misled any further. Besides, posting "knowingly false and inaccurate" information is a clear violation of forum rules.

If I detect any other members registering multiple aliases and then having conversations with themselves I'll take similar action.

Webmaster Don, (used both names in one shot)

Thanks for the heads up on this. I consider myself more than a casual visitor and even I was pretty confused on all this. Thanks again for the help. Hope things are well with you.

You will always be Moderator Don to me. As for me, "GTO," is the only name I use here, for better or for worse.
I hope I never run into that multi personality Mr you know who again.

Usually when I have conversations with myself, no one is watching or listening -- especially when those conversations turn in to arguments.

Thank you Don for uncovering the truth on this one. It had slippry written all over it. Keep up the excellent work. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_32_4.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001)
