The new url is www.bearchow.com but the old url still works fine.
The main camera is working but not updating to the website for some reason. My wife and I are visiting London and Paris for our 34th anniversary and I don't have the software to fix the site from here. I should have it fixed Wednesday. Second and third cameras are working.
Thank you for the interest.

OMG, I saw the cam this morning and what a clear picture and gorgeous view. What is the other cam, Bearfeed.com? Having a Mac and not having IE, I just
see buttons and arrows, just curious. Why do some webcams require IE?
Thank you and again, you have one gorgeous view. I hope the webcam works in the winter. I bet the snow view is awesome.

The cameras should work through the winter unless we loose power or cable internet service. Very possible on the island.
www.bearfeed.com has a pan, tilt and zoom camera that can be remotely controlled from any computer with Internet Explorer. It has a good image and a 27 power optical zoom that is impressive. Unfortunately live video over the internet requires you load an "ActiveX" viewer. Something that your computer will probably tell you is a bad idea unless you trust the site. So, do you trust me?
If you look in the top right corner of the BearCam2 image you can see the BearFeed camera dome.

BI,
Can't thank you enough for maintaining the cameras. I know it aint free! So to you and all the others who provide us with a taste of the Lake from home I appreciate it tremendously.
I can't even count how many times I have viewed those cams.

The webcam is now bookmarked ready for winter viewing.

When I saw that, it looked like a light. I'll have to see if my mother has ActiveX on her computer to check the pan and zoom features. Unfortunately, everyone I know, including myself have Macs and no IE.
Thank you for the information and the pleasure of viewing the lake from your webcam.
I would also like to thank all of the other webcam owners for sharing their wonderful views. It has only been recently that I found these cams and I am enjoying them, as well as the memories they bring back of the lake.

I have to thank you also for your webcams. whenever I get stressed in my life, I turn on the computer and check out all the Lake webcams, they give me the peace and relaxation I need to make it thru. Lake Winnipesaukee is my "happy place" so I love seeing it through the year when I cannot make the 2 hour trip up in person.:)
