Yep,
It's all your fault out there.
Especially you too nice folks that cajoled me into attending another forumfest!
As some of you may remember I sold my camp on Ossipee Lake and upgraded my bowrider to a Larson Cabrio 260, which I placed at a marina down the street from my home. We have had the last two years of sailing the Portsmouth Harbor/Great Bay waterways. But it just never replaced the good times and good people I have missed on Winni & Ossipee.
At forumfest I got to talk to Don about his latest vacation on the Lake. I carried his stories home. My wife was away but when she returned we had a long talk about our boating future.
So today I am negotiating with a buyer for my Larson. Hopefully we sell it this fall and then we will start the search for a freshwater trailerable boat, so we can cover Winni & Ossipee once again.
I'm taking her to breakfast soon with the Ames Farm certificate I won at the 'Fest. We have so many found memories of launching from there over the years, and I know the view will seal the deal with her.
So thanks again folks; nothing beats the scenery, the water and the great people here and out on the Lake! :)
p.s. Bear Islander still owes me a drink on his dock...I intend to collect!
