The Wells Fargo stage coach and horses are in town.....if ya know what I mean.
There was a woman and a little red wagon scraping up some big piles of manure right in the middle of the busiest intersection this side of Concord.....Hope her insurance plan is a good one. Beautiful horses though. I would not one of those giants to step on my big toe anytime.:D

Sorry I didn't have my camera with me today....argh!:(

A couple of decades ago we went to Mackinac Island, Michigan. (Ferry) They have the Grand Hotel. Pretty impressive and quite well known. I think it's the last BIG Wooden Hotel in the nation. There are no ...modern vehicles allowed on the island. The only mode of transportation is bicycle or Horse Drawn wagons.

So my wife and I were lined up waiting for a place on the wagon. The wagon was pretty full. The Very Front seats ..just behind the horses..were OPEN. WOW. Did we make out or what..?? We took those seats.

When you sit directly behind those BIG horses....What can you expect.l..We had a front row seat as to how Nature Works...:D NB

I think the Mt. Washington Hotel is "wooden". It sure is "grand".

I am pretty sure the Mt. Washington Hotel is wooden, too. Isn't the Balsams as well?

I just Googled the Mt. Washinton Hotel. It IS pretty big. Here's a link to the Grand Hotel. Maybe not as big as I remember. I think it was built in 1887 :) NB

YES: You're right. There's the difference. I didn't think of that before. :) The Mount Washington Hotel dosn't seem to have those stinkin horses.

Of Course: Maybe.... the people that go to the Mt Wahington are more Refined....not so much connected with...........Nature.....:D :D :D NB
