We enjoyed a spectacular evening of fireworks on Wolfeboro Bay last night. Although we've watched the Wolfeboro 4th of July fireworks for many years, this was our first time watching from the water. As soon as the town fireworks ended at 10, there was another 30-minute display launched from 3 separate areas along the Sewall Road side of the bay. All three areas appeared to be private homes, rather than Goodhue Hawkins or the Yacht Club. It was quite impressive for a private fireworks display, not only because of the duration, but also the impressive number and rapid, overlapping volleys. It appeared to be coordinated and professionally timed. I don't remember seeing this before. I wonder if anyone on the forum has more information, for example, whether this was a special event for the 250th anniversary, whether it was arranged by some sort of neighborhood association, etc.
