Not sure if I should have posted under "Sports" or "Recreation", but does anyone know if Castle in the Clouds still has horse back riding? Couldn't find anything on their website. And does anyone know if you can bring your dog to Castle in the Clouds to hike the trails?

Or anyplace that has horse back riding around the lake would be a great help.

Thanks in advance!!

I believe I heard an ad on the radio (or tv) that said both carriage rides and horseback riding were returning to the Castle for this season.

I don't know about the Castle trails with dogs, but there are two trail heads just north of the Castle road along Rt 171 that go up into the Ossipees that are dog ok trails.

I walk m dog on the Castle trails, no worries as long as your dog can interact well with other hikers and dogs.

Several years ago we took advantage of some riding at Gunstock. It was very nice, the staff was great.
