This is one of the most sought-after views in the Lakes Region. Just before you lies nearly all of Winnipesaukee (Alton Bay is a major exception). To the right you see the red roof of the Castle, and beyond that is the prominent bulk of Red Hill. A little to its left can be seen pieces of Squam Lake and Kanasatka, and to its right the long line of the Squam Range. The Belknap Mts form the background, just to the left of center. The well-worn trail to this outlook is short (about 1 mi), but quite steep in places.
