A photo taken this morning. Caverly Mt is about 7 miles SE of Rattlesnake Island. Mixed sun and clouds, with snow squalls moving into the picture from the north. Caverly has a lot of open ledges at its summit which provide fine views of both Winnipesaukee and Merrymeeting Lakes. If you look over Rattlesnake to the end of Meredith Bay, you see the extensive, rather upscale development that is situated high above the shores of the lake on the hill that lies just south of Meredith village (US Rte 3 goes down the west side of that hill on its way north into Meredith, and the development is situated on the east side). Moose and Ship Islands are also seen in the photo.

What a neat photo. I don't believe that we've seen this view before. Thanks DCR!
