I was looking at the time lapse Weir's web cam today and there is one frame where there is a ....figure?....doesn't look like a boat, to the left. That got me to wondering, is there any folklore of any unusual animal life in the lake? Like Loch Ness monster, or "Champ" from Lake Champlain, or even any stories of unusually large species? Does anyone have any interesting folklore or legend re the lake ? and can you tell me what that dark figure is on the webcam?

There was Marge from the Pinecone but that was years ago and I'm sure FLL has been mistaken a few times for some unknown being while floating around

Do you mean this shot? It looks like it may be a bird but you never know...

I think its a bug on the lens or Godzilla

The only unusually sized species swimming in the lake is me when I wear my orange multicolored Hawaiian bathing suit

LOL, I knew this would draw some fun repsonses. Thanks for the laughs. And yes....I think perhaps that is a bird. At first glance it looked like it was in the water. Kind of Godzilla looking.

Years ago there was rumor of a monster animal in the lake. It was called something with the name Winni in it. I might think of what it was called at some point.

There WAS a Sasquatch sighting on Rattlesnake a couple of winters ago...with pictures. Pictures don't lie.
