Pretty crazy idea.I'll bet they cost about as much as a snowmobile and can't go most places a sled can get.With all the weight a truck has the vehicle will always sink down deep limited only by the snow depth.Once you bottom out,good luck.Don't see these going anywhere.

In addition it looks like you need quite a bit of ground clearance and this vehicle looks a bit jacked up. It also looks like the tracks are hitting the body of the truck when going over bumps, up hills etc. It is clear that you can only go quite slowly with this setup.

So, I would surmise that this is useful for utility vehicle access to otherwise inaccessible winter locations. I can't see anyone saying "let's attach the tracks to the Range Rover and hit the snowmobile trails." Not a recreational application.

LOL. Add to the above there is a maximum width requirement to be on a snowmobile trail. It looks like my truck could drive around fine without tracks where this video is being shot too.

It's going to apeal to people who -need- to be out there, not the recreational trail-rider. It's not likely to be a mass-market tool though.

In NH snowmobile clubs are typically never given any grant money for tracked SUV and pickups so you don't see them here. In many states, Maine included, they are very popular as grooming vehicles because you can buy a decent 3/4 ton PU and put tracks on it for 30-40K and have a capable groomer.
