Default Feet wet?

Just curious...

Is anyone taking advantage of the open water? I check RattleSnakecam.com several times a day for visual relief but I havent seen anyone since November.

Thumbs up Boat wake

I saw a wake on the Bear Island cam 1 week ago. No boat, just a boat wake.

There have been several boats going in and out of Minge Cove over the past few days, including one person we saw go out for an afternoon Christmas Eve ride. One or more Rattlesnake Island residents are still boating out to their island getaways, and we saw one of them come back to Minge Cove from Rattlesnake while the snow was falling pretty heavily late this morning. This is quite unusual, as the Minge Cove marina is usually iced-in by this time in December.

Snake Eyes has been stuck since 12/17, so any boats out on the lake won't be seen. Hopefully IG can get it re-started once she returns from her Christmas vacation.

I meant their page with links to other lake cams. I did recently notice "Snake Eyes" was missing from the line up. Thanks for the explanation.

Default Snake Eyes

... should return to service January 1, 2007.. sorry for the delay. It seems that the modem does not release and stays connected burning up the 200 hours per month that I have with my isp. They were unwilling to reset it so we wait. Hopefully the reboot of the camera will reset things and this will not happen again.

I will look for a new isp in the spring.
