Default Mushrooms Bad or Good?

Just saw these guys popup. Anyone know whether these are bad or good mushrooms?

I think there is a reason you don't see many amateur mushroom collectors, they end up poisoning themselves. I wouldn't fool around with this. If you are truly interested there are many people around who know what they are doing and I think there are clubs that will teach you what to look out for.

They look a lot like the Maitake mushroom.

But I didn't know exactly where to post my topic, but follow my logic in deciding to do it in the Wildlife section.

These mushrooms were growing in the WILD, and they are LIFE.

Good or bad depends on what you want them for: Eating, taking a break from reality, or ridding oneself of a troublesome relative....
