Default Eagles in the fog

Saturday morning we were enjoying a cup of coffee at about 8 am and the visibility due to the heavy fog was about 250 ft when I noticed a flash of brown and white coming out of the fog towards our roof. We quickly opened the front sliders and looked around and spotted a male eagle perched in a large pine in our yard. It was only about 40 ft away. As we stood on the deck admiring the eagle, he took flight back into the fog towards Blueberry Island. What a great start to a wonderful day!
