Engine Hours Check
I always love to get this thread going in the Fall .....
With roughly six weeks of Boating left for the Season How many hours have you put on your engine "thus far" this season ? For us I think we thoroughly have broken in our new 26' Crownline Current: 65 hours logged and anticipate closing the year in the 80 Hr. range .

What are you doing....... Running a water taxi service ?
That seems incredible to the point of non believable ! Sure as hell wouldn't want your gas bill if it is accurate. .

Probably half of it is fishing time (not much fuel burn at 2 MPH). If you do fish it's pretty easy to build the hours. Also, I live nearby so it's easy for us to sneak out for a few hours after work during the week. I'll take a picture of my hour meter if you want

Enjoyment hours far greater than engine hours
My first year back to boating after a long absence. We have logged about 60 hours... but the enjoyment hours are far greater and more difficult to measure. At least double that... dock time, anchor time and just plain floating time. I have a feeling the best hours of all will be post labor day!
