Swimming Deer

We saw four deer swim by our house in Green's Basin yesterday. They swam across to the mainland on the other side of the basin.

Deer 2 to deer 3 and 4:

"Where the hell is this idiot taking us?"

Deer 4:

"Shut up and swim; I'm getting cold!"

My guess is the deer were fleeing hunters. We saw a stag swimming the lake about a mile from there a couple of years ago this time of year.
