Default A Beautiful Day

Today I rode in my Seadoo from Green's basin through the Hole In The Wall and around Long Island. I only saw 7 other boats on the entire trip. The water was like glass. Then I floated and kayaked. As you can see....I don't want summer to end.

Just being picky on the fun side,. I believe you should have said yesterday as the posting was done this morning at 2:56 AM (9/22/11) And oh by the way I agree with you all the way that none of us want to see the summer to come to an end and your pictures kinda show that the season really is though.

Default Yes it was

We went out in the broads out from Rattlesnake, cut the engine, and had lunch. Jane finished her book, and I soaked up some warm sun. We overall had the lake to ourselves as well.

Ah yes, the benefits of living in the lakes region.

Also spent the day yesterday on the lake in the Four Winns. It was an awesome calm afternoon Traveled from Meredith Bay around Governors Island up past Smith Cove down to the town docks in Alton for some ice dream then back through the Hole in the Wall and the water was like glass everywhere.
Truly an awesome boating day!!

I like that picture of our boathouse! Wish I had been up there! Sounds like it won't be quite so nice this weekend......

How lucky are you?! I am suffering through my very last September in Florida before my youngest graduates high school and I move to NH. Business will not allow me to be there full time, but never again will I live in an area that endures 90+ degrees for a third of the year.
Cheers to you ... enjoy every day of that paradise!

It is funny that you mention the hot weather in Florida. Our son lives in Tampa. I spoke with him today and he said he can't wait for cooler temperatures. He is glad he is not here in the winter though.

The hole in the wall is between Little Bear and Devens Islands. It is a Narrow no wake passage....

The Hole in the Wall is a passageway between Devens and Little Bear Islands, near Long Island in the Moultonboro area. It's marked on the charts.

Yep....the lake is getting quite alright. Took this pic from the dock this morning on Wolfeboro bay.
Not a boat in sight.
