Same here. As a North American holiday that brings families together.
Note: Canada celebrates their Thanksgiving on the 2nd Monday of October.
A better date in my opinion.

But just remember: the original Thanksgiving was between two parties.
The Pilgrims and the original folks here called then Indians.

Maybe we need a national holiday to celebrate our Native American brothers and sisters.

NHD, I'll take a guess on that picture. How about from Bald Knob up from Rte 171, looking NW over at the Castle in the Clouds, with M'boro Bay behind it? Or perhaps from Turtleback? Mmmm, I think the latter.
