Default Catering recommendation needed please

Can anyone recommend a caterer who can also provide staff to serve (1 or 2 people)? I'd prefer recommendations from personal experience.

We're arranging a family dinner mid-August 2015 to be held at our vacation rental in Wolfeboro. We expect about 20-25 people ranging from toddlers to grandparents. the event will be mid-week, probably on a Wednesday.

Thanks in advance.

Chef Joe out of Franconia is fabulous! He catered my son's wedding which was held at Camp Northwoods in Tuftonboro. Great food, great service.

Oh well.

Alec Ray of the Common Man Chain is an excellent economical caterer.
Scott Ouellette of Magic Foods is an excellent high end caterer. Bothe serve in the Lakes Region area. Common Man caters throughout the state.

Looking for authentic unique BBQ? Maple Street catering out of White River Junction VT is a big treat. They have a traveling smoke pit which is an eye catcher. And they don't scrimp on the dinner setting! They don't used plastic or paper, all ceramic dishes, metal silverware, linen tablecloth and napkins. I have seen them in action at a big event down in Newburyport Mass. They catered my daughter's wedding in Jeffersonville VT. So location is not a problem.
Big reason they catered for the wedding is the choice of vegan menu. Not a vegan but the entrees were delicious!

I cant recommend this place enough. My company has used them a number of times for special events and Christmas parties. Each and every time it was fantastic!

Good Luck!

Default Hart's Turkey Farm

Hart's also does catering. We had them for a family function and they did a very good job.

Default THanks to all who chimed in

We're in the process of contacting several caterers including some of those suggested above. I'll update the thread with our choice and review.

We have not used her yet, but one of the former chef's from The Restaurant in Wolfeboro has opened a catering business. It is located in Farmington center and called "Siobhan's Table". She's been advertising in The Baysider.

We loved her dishes at The Restaurant. If the catering is as good, I'd expect it to be great.

Another vote for Curts. They did our wedding and the food was excellent and they are very professional.
