Default Great Day On The Water!

Well today certainly wasn't the best, but yesterday was absolutely gorgeous on the water. The lake was calm and the air was clean and brisk. A boat trip to the Weirs for lunch and a drink at Gringos then a boat ride for a couple hours. The lake was just as calm as could be. It was a great day to be on the water!

Default boating

Friday night we got to the cottage about 8 PM, the air was crisp, the stars were out. so I said to ze wife lets go for a boat ride. We went from Echo Point to Littlemark and back, enought to cool the knuckles on both hands. The big dipper was brilliant. Sat morning I had an appointment to have the party boat put away for the season. It was 31 degrees at 8:30 in the morning. Cold. One down, two to go. Next is the warf. BRR!

Saturday was a beautiful day, just as ishoot308 and John A. Birdsall described. Even though it was brisk on the lake, there were many boats out and about.
I was happy that we put the vinyl on the boat a couple weeks ago. It doesn't look the best, but it sure makes life a little warmer!

Saturday was a great surprise. The forecast was crappy but the day was beautiful. We left Gilford and had a nice cruise to Wolfeboro and had lunch at Garwoods. The small sailboats in the bay made a postcard scene.

Had a little James Bond moment when it looked like scuba divers were attacking my boat as I left the docks.

The ride back was even better, went all the way to Meredith without once coming off plane. They had already closed the public pumpout, so we didn't stop.

Today, Sunday, the boat came out just before the snow. I pretty good last weekend considering the crappy weather all season.
