At times yes but typically hard to do due to all the snowfall which makes for difficult surface for ice boats. They do better on clear ice. Also can be very dangerous due to uneven surfaces and ice ridges that are pretty prevalent all over the lake. These things can me sailing very fast and hard to miss a fast approaching ridge that can be a couple of feet and send them airborne.
