Default Seaplane Rides?

I would love to get my husband a seaplane ride for his upcoming birthday. Can anyone recommend an outfit on the lake? We're based in the Moultonboro/Meredith area. It would be great if I could get him a ride and also stop by someplace for lunch (lakeside) along the way.

Thanks!

The seaplane rides is a great gift. We took this flight two years ago and it was great. He will work with you and arrange a pick up at your dock.
He flies out of Paugus bay and I did see him there this weekend.
Here is the website.

There is also a Waco biplane that flys out of the Guilford airport.

We have taken both tours and they were both memories we will never forget.

Island Folks, I can reccomend Dave French at www.seaplanetours.net, we have used Dave's service numerous times for our friends and family when they visit us at the lake. Dave, with his great personality and his wife Colleen make the whole experience a pleasure. They can either pick you up at your dock or you can drive over to Paugus Bay to their dock, the charge a little more if they come to you but from experience we always have them come to us. It is always more special when the plane pulls up to your dock. His plane seat up to 5 passengers.

I have no affiliation with this company other then I am a very satisfied customer of numerous flights.

Default +1 For Dave french

I too recommend Dave French at seaplanetours.net. I have been with Dave a few times now and he is the best! Picks me up and drops me off right at my breakwater. Here's a good thread about it...

Default Biplane ride

We took the 40 min extended lake tour yesterday and had a great time.

There is a story about these recently manufactured Waco Classics on the web site. Seating for two in the front seat is cozy but very comfortable (pilot flies from back seat). Pilot Phil will go over a chart of the lake prior to the flight and go pretty much wherever you want. Tons of Fun!

Might have to try this on vacation in August. How does this type of ride compare to say commerical flights? Is it more bumpy, any more of a motion sickness problem with this plane? I don't "do" carnival rides!

Dave's is closed, yes.

I was able to connect with him a couple years ago when looking for alternatives for my brother and me, and he said he thought there was a new company opening up out of Moultonborough, but I never checked up on it as we went with Emerson.
