Hovercraft
Are hovercraft allowed on the lake other than by rescue squads? I thought they were prohibited due to excessive noise.

I know they have been out there. There was a forum member who owned one, I think it was codeman.

envious...
there's a fairly large one that i've seen coming through the channel between Bear and Pine... not sure but think it may be owned by someone on the west side of Bear... looks like a LOT of fun (and noisy)... sure beats walking out from the mainland over the ice...

Yes they were about 10 years ago as we had one for a few years and used it all year long.
