Default Fireworks Show In Wolfeboro Bay July 3rd

Hey All, Once again, for like the 74th year, our Family is going to shoot off some fireworks for our Family, Friends, and Co Workers. We do this off a "large raft" 100 feet off our dock! If your a boater, then our display just might be the best you could see on the water, float on over at dusk friday July 3rd at dusk! If you like what you see, blow those horns, ring those cowbells! We love noise! (Rain date is Sunday July 5th).

Default Good luck with your show, but...

...unfortunately it conflicts with the traditional Fireworks in Alton Bay that are always held on the night before the 4th of July.

As a resident of Alton Bay, and having missed only a few shows over many years, we have to support our town's show.

Sorry we will miss you this year. We have enjoyed your display over the past few years, especially where it has provided another chance to watch fireworks from the boat, aside from lakeside community displays. (I do understand that you have to schedule when you can)

Good luck and thanks for what you do.

Where should we go to find your show, just anywhere in Wolfboro harbor?

Starboard? I thought it was towards Sewall Rd, so if you are heading from the main part of the lake toward the docks, wouldn't that be Port?

Come into Wolfeboro Bay and keep to the left side of the bay. It is past the Goodhue boat yard, which is to port, on the left, your side, the side where the hand with the ring is... well you know. It just isn't starboard unless you are backing down the bay.

An easy way to remember is that port and left both have four letters.

Isn't it just as easy to remember port is on the left?

How are your limber holes? Of maybe you don't have any?

There's two shows. One by the town, the other by the OP. The town's in on the 4th, the OP's is the 3rd. And the OP's generally kicks the town's ass.

Last I heard, town got a new fireworks guy so who knows.

We are half way between town docks and goodhues boat yard. The firworks raft will be way out off our dock. Anywhere in wolfeboro bay will give a good view.

Wish they were the 5th so we could have three nights in a row!
Any chance the start tme between these and Alton's are staggered to the point where it's possible to see both?

There were two. I was hoping for them to start shooting lasers at each other like something out of a Star Wars movie, but alas my dreams were crushed like a peanut shell at a campfire.

Crunch.

Yes we had a drone filming. We will edit and create something for here as time allows. Glad everyone enjoyed the show, we had our most fun ever cookout and blast off ever this year! We were very impressed with the number of boats that took the time to come check it out! Enjoy your weekend everybody!

Default Wolfeboro Bay fireworks July 3rd

Amazing...spectacular display of fireworks and wonderful music along with the fireworks. I can say I have been to many large fireworks displays but this show is a finale display for greater than 45 minutes.
thank you for showing such great contribution honoring our country and freedom.

What a fabulous display! Thank you, Sculpin, for your kindness and generosity in doing this for the community.

Were there two separate shows by two neighbors? Was Sculpin's the second one, the higher in the sky ones?

No from when we got there early much before dark we circled the waterfront and saw there were two platforms for the fireworks. On smaller size and then a very large barge loaded with cannon blasters. The smaller barge or raft was the first show and then the large barge took over. Amazing display for over 45 minutes of continuous fireworks display. The last time I saw such a fireworks performance was in Boston on the Charles

Thank you all for a wonderful entertaining evening.

If I remember correctly, last year's show included a short welcome by the host that said something about a friend or family member being responsible for the first show, and then the "professionals" being responsible for second show.

Yes frdexplr is correct. Our group personally builds the smaller raft load, then the fine folks from hellsgate fireworks continue higher. But it's all from the same cookout party.

Hey frdexplr. You know anybody from the Billet Family in York PA ?

Sculpin --

As mentioned above --- AWSOME ..... been to many firework displays (Boston Harbor Bicentennial included) .... nothing compares !

Will await the drone video, that should be awesome as well

Idle Curiosity, was that a Company Party or simply friends & family?

Can't wait till next year --- remember the rules -- you have to top the year before

I think it was Jupiter & Venus, not that it matters it was really cool not matter what planets they were. There is a free app called Skyview that you can point you phone at the heavens and it tells you what you are looking at. Constellations, satellites etc.
