Default New Hampshire Magazine Hot New Restaurants List

The November 2010 issue, "the it list movers and shakers" edition of New Hampshire Magazine features ten hot new restaurants in the state. I heard we're one.

Does anyone know where I can get 5 copies for my mother

I just looked in my November issue of NH Magazine and as you thought there is an article on Tavern 27. It is extremely complimentary. It discusses how the restaurant chief cooks with food purchased from local sources and and how he has his own farm garden. To obtain copies of the magazine I would call their publisher ( McLean Communications) at (603) 624-1442 or you could send an e-mail:mail to: editor@nhmagazine.com. You will probably so busy now we probably won't even be able to get a table. I will drop off my copy of the magazine to you when I finish reading it.

baygo, Rite-Aid in Laconia has Octobers issue as well. We just subscribed, so hopefully we'll be getting november in the mail shortly! Otherwise, we'll just have to wait for it to roll out to stores.

Thanks Dr. Hook. Now I have that song stuck in my head!

I love this video for all of the Rolling Stone Covers. A nice walk down memory lane. How many of you now have this song stuck in your head?

You'll hear it in your head now every time you go to Baygo's Tapas restaurant, Tavern 27.

GBG, that is nice of you to pass along your magazine. I like that option better than sending it off for recycling.

I believe they hit the shelves around here a couple weeks after the subscriptions come in the mail.

Their website currently only shows the October issue, as of today. There is a page on the website where you can order back issues for $4.50 each. October 2010 is the last listed as of today.

Burrito Me is mentioned under" Lakes Region and North". It states in NH Magazine that " Burrito Me opened in the old train Station in Laconia (9 Veterans Sq.) serving Mission-style burritos.

Default New Hampshire Magazine's link

I don't think anyone has posted the New Hampshire Magazine's link for "Hot New Restaurants" so here you go...

http://www.nhmagazine.com/home/88114...staurants.html

Hope that worked!

Congrats Tavern 27!

Default And he sings too?

OK my hands are on a copy. Actually a few of them. Thanks to all who dropped a copy off. One more and I'll have enough for mom. I'd have chimed in earlier but as some have suggested, the recognition is sending more people to our door. A very welcome bump during mud season. Thanks New Hampshire Magazine!!

I'm flattered we were featured and thrilled by all the wonderful words written. None of this would be possible if not for the hard and dedicated work of the entire team.

I must admit that my first response to the article was joyous however after the competitive side of me compared space allotted to the ten featured establishments, I realized that two restaurants received more space. I interpret this as if the critic ranked them above us therefore ranking us number three. I am glad to bring home the bronze for the Lakes Region but quite honestly I'm jealous of the top two. I hope to get a break soon so we can visit both Mombo and Kiki's.

On another note; Those of you who enjoyed memory of "Doctor Hook and The Medicine Show" may appreciate a little something that went through my mind a few weeks ago after being featured on the front page of the Laconia Sun.

"We get all kinds of thrills from serving drinks that get chilled but the biggest thrill we ever got was the thrill that will get you when you get your picture on the cover of The Daily Sun."

I know... don't quit my day job.
