I dont thinking there is any,,,
I was there last year and asked a local police officer and he said there wasnt any particular lot assigned to snowmobile trailers that he knew of. He told us we could park at the drive-in, but it was a narrow driveway and not a great option. If someone else knows a better location I'm all ears. Once we got on the lake we had a GREAT day!!! We covered like 80 miles and really had a super time. Good luck. GH |

There is no public trailer parking at the Weirs that I am aware of. There are a few private lots that might help as well as some space at parking lots of restaurants that might be available. Lobster Pound might be a good place to start with a request.

In the past, I just park the trailer and truck in front of the broadwalk, away from the only place open. Crazy Gringo. Are you telling me they are telling those with trailers to park elswhere this year?

There is significant construction repairing the washout of the boardwalk at the Weirs. This has resulted in the majority of the roadway on the lake side of Lakeside Ave to be fenced in. This significantly changes all parking and snow machine pathways in the Weirs area. This will be completed by the end of the winter, but for now parking is tougher than usual at the Weirs.

The NHSA Site indicates there is snowmobile parking at the Weirs:
http://nhsa.com/visit_trailpark.shtml Claims it is on Lakeview Avenue near the Weirs Boardwalk.. I forgot about the construction...I will just stay away from that area anyway. Maybe try Prescott Park in Meredith or the dog track on 106 supposedly has snowmobile parking as well.... |

I would hope the folks in Laconia would plow the lot off Lucerne Ave, next to the fire station and allow trailer parking there while the construction is taking away parking opportunities on Lakeside Ave. I realize trailers are not allowed there during the summer, but this is a different situation.

I would park behind the Crazy Gringo in the parking lot next to the church... it is owned by the Mount....
The construction on the Boardwalk has most of Lakeside Ave useless for trailer parking. Woodsy

There were a few trailers parked right after the construction site yesterday. I would imagine that over the weekend, the traffic would be heavier and you probably won't have the space available.
I know last year, I unloaded at the church and rode from there. Not condoning that, but we only went out for a short ride...

Alton Trailer Parking
Any idea what the parking is like in Alton?
I was told that you can park at the public lot at the boat ramp and drive the machines right down the ramp onto the lake. Anyone know if that is correct??? Thanks GH |
