Default Jet Ski rentals - Wolfeboro area

For years we have been going over to the Laconia side to rent jet skis but recently discovered (while trying to avoid the traffic in Wolfeboro one day), a place down a side street to rent them which is great because now we don't have to waste 20 min-1/2 hr getting from 1 side of the lake to the other just to enjoy it for a few hours worth of rental. Just curious to know what other places out there rent jet skis - in the Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, Moultonboro areas?? Also wondering if there is a big price difference..... I think we paid around $225 for a 1/2 day (4 hours) -- Thanks in advance for your help!

$225 for a half day rental? Cool!
What kind of licensing/permitting proces is required to rent out Jetskis/boats in NH?

I just saw a sign at the marina on Bay St. in Wolfeboro advertising boat rentals and I am pretty sure jet ski rentals also.

I think that's the place we rented from - it was near the Wolfe Trap....

I think all you need is a boating license/certificate to rent the jet skis - at least that's all that I showed....oh and a credit card - they put a $1000 refundable deposit down in case anything happens to it....

Hope that helps!

Actually what I mean is what, if any, state license or certificate etc do you need to open a rental company so that I can charge $225 an hour to let you use my jetski!!!

Default one thing you'll need

is robust liability insurance that will surely take a bite out of that $225/hr...
