Default Island Butterfly

This little fellow was fluttering around my wife's flower garden on the island this morning. I went in the camp to grab my camera and he was still there when I came out. He allowed me to get real close and grab quite a few shots. Here's a couple...

Nice! I was chasing one around my yard yesterday.. never got him to sit still long enough for a decent picture.

Wink Butterflies

Thanks for sharing your Welch Island pictures Dan!

Steve, you got me chucking visualizing you chasing a flutterby around your yard. Diane should tape that for us! Maybe next time you try chasing it while holding bouquet of flowers! Try dabbing a bit of honey behind your ears too.

Funny you should say that... When I first saw the butterfly I was just returning from fishing and I had a net in my hand. I was walking around the front our yard chasing this butterfly with a net in my hand. My wife couldn't stop laughing and said all I needed was a white suit!!
