Exclamation Tornado Watch Issued For NH, Parts Of Mass

From WMUR 2:00 pm

Quote:
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- A tornado watch has been issued for New Hampshire as strong thunderstorms are forecast to move through the state.

The watch was issued for all counties in New Hampshire. A tornado watch indicates that conditions are right for a tornado to form but not that a tornado has been spotted.

Much of central and western Massachusetts is included in the tornado watch.

A special Thank You to Island Girl for taking the time to slow down and warn us of the tornado warnings today while we were sitting on the dock and she was trying to get back to her place by jet ski with the black clouds looming.

Class move!

Thank you.

Default Thanks Slickcraft!

Yes, I too am glad Slickcraft took the time to post this warning as I had men working on my camp on the island who had no idea any bad weather was coming in. Once I saw Slickcrafts post I immediately called them so they could "batten down the hatches" if necessary. We ended up losing power on the island from strong winds and it is still out. Other than that all is well.

It was definitely windy today, it snapped my bimini frame while under way in 2places! I had just rounded Lockes heading out into the wind and at 20-25mph speed at most we got hit with a gust that snapped it.
