Default The Passing of Paul Blizzard

It was with great sadness that we just learned that Paul Blizzard, owner of Lakeport Landing Marina, passed away on April 10, 2014. According to the obituary in the Daily Sun, a Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, April 23 at 3 p.m. It states that in lieu of flowers a donation to the Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be mailed to 780 North Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.

For those of us who knew Paul, he will be greatly missed.

Bill and Sue

It was a beautiful service. One that Paul would have been proud of. He is missed already and represents the passing of an era. Paul put an indelible mark on "the Big Lake" that inspired fun. Not everybody agreed with the direction he and others took us but that is OK. Sometimes competing desires and beliefs have to be just that, "competing". Maybe he is tooling around someplace in a beautiful boat with his hair blown back and that big wonderful smile gracing his "New Territory". One can only hope.......

71 is relatively young !

Was this "unexpected" ?

Clearly I do not know the family, but as a 25+ year "guest" of the Lake I always hate see the passing of another "fixture" of my time in this great neighborhood.

Respectfully-
