Default T-Bones Paybacks

You do not have to be over 55 to enjoy the payback program. We have been in the prgram for about six years and every other visit we accumulate enough points to receive a free app.

Food and service are very consistant.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I just joined the "over 55 club" though I was 55 some time ago!

No, not directly. You'd need to park at a nearby marina and walk. I'm not aware of any marinas in the immediate area with that kind of transient docking. It would be cool if the new store going into the old BK location could drop those docks back in and offer transient slips.

I was told Rudzinsky Family is asking enormous amount of money for the property. Because the docks have not been used for so many years, the DES will not allow them to put the docks back in. They will need to reapply and build docks that conform the amount of footage they own. This alone have devalued the property.

Default BH...a question...

Wasn't there also something about the fact the BK property was two lots, that the remaining lot is limited in the number of docks / slips they can put in? I thought I saw that in another thread about the property.

Ok...I see you actually answered my question...time to go back to the rubber room. Duh on me.

I had heard essentially the same things.

Default Lake-port?

Too bad Lakeport is about the only "port" on the lake without public docking. Seems like a job for the Chamber of Commerce.

Default Laconia

Laconia actually voted on a public access back in the 50's and the City never follow through. Seems like there was no statute of limitation and a handful of residents have ask for a public dock. So far, no action.

Default Old Lakeport Public dock

In the 60's ('61-'62) I wasn't old enough for a driver;'s license, so I used to take our boat to Lakeport and tie up at the public dock just north of Irwin Marine and walk to Morrill Street where I took music lessons in the summer. I recall seeing the Sceptre tied up there in the 50's and hearing that it belonged to a troop of Sea Scouts.

Anyway the dock was not maintained and was little used by the public. Eventually the City sold it (long term lease?) and the adjacent land to Irwin Marine.
