Default New Mooring Cover

I need to get a new mooring cover for my boat. Any recommendations for local canvas shops ?

Thanks,

Default Fays

Fays Boat Yard has a canvas shop. Never used them so can't say how good they are, but there is one there.

Woody at Marina Canvas just did 3 projects for us, a pontoon enclosure repair, a full enclosure on a bowrider and a half enclosure/wind break on our wakeboard boat. The quality was exceptional. He is located at Silver Sands. His office is above the showroom.

Village Canvas in Meredith, down back of the now closed Jackson Star supermarket, off Route 104 at the lights, does quality work and it cost about $600.

My Village Canvas, vintage 1993, custom made, Sunbrella boat cover is still hard at work, protecting my boat, with the help of a semi-annual, roll-on application of Thompson's waterproofing.

If you have been invested in financial stocks, this small piece of information will prove to be very helpfull!

I would highly recommend ShipShape Marineworks in Gilford. I just had a custom bow cover made. They were able to get the job done in two days. Nice job and nice folks.

Default Village Canvas - Bev

He has made a couple full covers for me, does exceptional work, gets it to you as promised and on time. He typically charges by the foot and style so costs will vary, but if you want a true custom-fit cover that will last and the mfg. will stand behind - he is the only guy to see!

Otherwise, if you just want a cover that will "suffice" - Overtons sells them through the catalog and online, they work and are reeasonably priced.

Default Canvas Plus

Anyone have any work done by them? Notice from some 2006 posts that there were some complaints. Any more recent experiences?

Default Inside Slip Cover?

Hi Bill,

Are you looking for a cover to use while your boat is in the marina slip? Say hi to Sue.
