Pit Stops Around the Lake
Hello Fellow Boaters
We are renting a big pontoon boat with a bunch of people from out of town and will be going all over the lake this Saturday. We are leaving from Wolfeboro and wondering where there are other "pit stops" (public bathrooms) around the lake. Thanks in advance for your replies. |

I haven't been over to Pier 19 yet this year, however there have been a couple of portable potties there each summer for at least the past 5 years. I believe there's one at Lees Mills also. Have fun!

The Pier 19 portapotties are there now.
There are also public restrooms on Ragged Island. Have a fun cruise! |

Gilford
There are public restrooms at the Gilford Town docks (be careful where you park) and you can get to see the new MP building

Rogged Island has an outhouse.... not a full bathroom by any stretch.... It is right over by the docks at the southern end of the island....

I think that most of the good spots have been mentioned......with public Restrooms......except the beach at long Island Bridge... you could pit stop at the launch ramp dock and use the porta-potty.....
Now lets talk about places to stop to have a beverage or have a meal that have bathrooms.... Such as NASWA (Wiers Area), Town Docks (Meredith), Mug by the bay (Center Harbor)........

Wolfeboro docks have a public restroom, not to mention all the restaurants in the area.

Alton Bay
As mentioned above, Alton Bay has public bathrooms right across the street from the public docks. (There is another public restroom building on the other side of the bay by the town beach). Have fun with your boat trip!
