Default Underway on Saint Patrick's day!

'Don't mean to gloat but my daughter sent me a cell phone picture of an open Braun Bay yesterday! When I got home she and I launched the skiff and mounted the motor in the dark.

It is 60 degrees and the Lake is a millpond. Whoo...Hoooo!

Se Ya out there!

PS. PIG, I'll head out to the island early next week. Do you want me to pull the aquatherms?

Thumbs up

Be careful out there. You'll be an easy target for the NHMP since you're about the only one out there.

Probably the exact opposite. Be careful because nobody else is out there. If something bad happens, you're probably on your own.

YUP: Spring is the time when breakdowns occur. NEW boaters who don't know anything about boats..... people who didn't winterize correctly..etc..etc. In fact, as a SPRING Launch Ramp ...."Observer", my observation has been that often enough, some boats never even get away from the dock. They are the lucky ones.

Others that actually get away from the dock and break down.....There is NO ONE out there to WAVE To to get a tow back. THE GOOD: Experience builds character. NB

Default Wow

Just be careful. Like bigRazor said, you will probably be the only ones out there.

Have fun and let us know if you go out and how it was!

Happy St. Patricks Day to you too!

I was out on St. Pats as well, but I admit that I cheated. I was on the Merrimack.

Default Back in the days

A bunch of us would be waterskiing. Paying attention that the wind don't shift.
