Default Pump outs

Hello all,
Kind of new to the lake as a boater. Can anyone tell me who has a black water pump out on the moultonboro side of the lake? Is it free, how much does it cost? Is there etiquette involved? Tipping etc...

Help me out

thanks

There is one at Quayside Yacht Club, across street from Trexlers Marina store. I kept a boat there last year but didn't need it for my center console. Don't know if it's for members only or not. Give Trexler's a call. 253-7315

The one at Trexlers may be part of the yacht club, but the other place you could call on that end of the lake would be Melvin Village Marina..... of course I know for sure the Anchor Marine at the Wiers does pump outs......

We always use the free ones in Meredith. It's a decent excuse for a cruise...

Most gas docks will do a free pump out if you buy gas. Melvin is probably the closest. If you don't buy gas, most charge $5.

If I get a pump out and gas I usually tip around $5.

Meredith is free and their pumps are pretty strong. But you have to do it yourself, latex gloves are useful. The other issue is they have rubber nozzle tank fittings, so you have to hold the fitting on the boat during the whole process. Bring a bucket to clean up with.
