Wolfeboro Docks
Anyone know the outcome of the June 11 Wolfeboro Town Meeting to discuss the proposed amendment to require a placard to dock at the handicap-marked docks? Is this going forward?

I heard at last night's meeting (18th) the selectmen said they are going to have a 40' space close to land for the handicapped.

meeting results
1. See the related thread in this forum for more info.
2. There's a summary of the selectmans' discussion in this week's Granite State News (6/19) which I urge all to read before making a comment starting with "I heard that ...". The action was postponed pending a site visit by the selectmen prior to next week's meeting, to be held on 6/18 at 6:30 PM. 3. Please remember Sherlock Holmes' dictum: "It is a capital error to theorize in advance of the facts." This could also easily apply to certain other threads in this forum! |

Thanks for the lesson skpr. But that is exactly why I said " I heard". They did visit the site on the 18th (the day before you wrote you post.) I am not saying they have made a decision, I am saying that they are throwing around enabling large boats to dock there. And I might remind you that the newspapers are not always right either.
