Default Mighty Mo still around on VHF ?

There used to be a guy on VHF radio that gave weather alerts and other helpful information to boaters. I haven't boated too much on the lake in the past few years, but I was wondering if he was still on the air.

I believe his "handle" came from serving on the battleship Missouri, but that memory is sketchy at best. Any geezers out there, besides me, remember him?

Default Mighty Mo Mighty Mo......

We heard Mighty Mo towards the end of this summer letting boaters aware of a severe lighting storm rolling fast towards Lake Winni...We've always enjoyed his voice out on the Lake. I would love to hear his side of the story

I am glad to hear you heard him. We didn't hear him all summer and I was wondering if he was still on the air. Glad to hear he is.

As I recall from some newspaper article, Mr Mighty Mo had been blind for many years, and then thru the work of a Wolfeboro opthalmologist, he was able to regain his eyesight. Talk about an eye opener!

Default Mighty Mo

Mighty Mo, he goes by many names I call him "Boats" is alive and well and is living on the radios in Melvin. I plan to pick up some tools that I left at his place this week.

He is truly an asset on the Lake and we are lucky to have him.

Raspy voice..."Hallo all boats, hallo all boats on Lake Winnipesaukee. For a weather update....."
