I wonder how far he managed to get? The last time I checked (yesterday), there was still alot of ice from the bandstand out.

Last week I saw a small motorboat in the water, just off the docks in Wolfeboro. He didn't have a lot of wiggle room and he sure must love boating.

Saw a small boat at the Wolfeboro dock area webcam this morning at 7:35. Camera froze up, so I couldn't see where it went.
Not long now!

There are 3 boats in view on the Alton Cam right now. The ice is looking darker and thinner. I still think we could see a significant breakup this weekend.

As pointed out in another thread, there will still be those floes that block the Mount and prevent official ice out. But I'm hopeful that the lake will open up substantially over the next few warm, sunny days.

several small boats have been out fishing in Meredith Bay.
