Default Someone in trouble?

At about 2:15 pm the Gilford Fire Boat was out between Diamond and Rattlesnake Islands. The Gilford Fire and Rescue trucks were at Ames Farm apparently waiting for the Fire Boat. It looked like there were a couple of boats getting tossed around out near the fire boat, so it's possible someone got hurt. I hope everyone is ok. The lake is crazy rough today.

It was a Bass boat that was in a Tournament. I believe it was a Basscat Bass Boat. It got swamped and was still floating. Everyone was wearing life Jackets and survived OK. It would have been easy to stuff a way that day. The tournament went out of West Also marine.

Did it sink eventually or was it towed in?

I am 99% sure I saw that boat struggling in front of Ellacoya State Park through my spotting scope from my deck in Gilford on Sunday. He was getting pounded!! I figured if he was in trouble he would of simply headed towards the beach at Ellacoya and waited things out. I kept a close eye on him in case I needed to call the NHMP. He kept chugging along and I lost sight of him around the point of Lake Shore Park.

It was towed in and they were able to get it on the trailer.
