Default Feb 28 "Weather Event"

Can anyone elaborate on the precipitation that fell today?
Curious to see what it did to the lake and the snowmobile trails.

Thanks

Default Alton Bay

At my house, we had some snow(less than an inch) overnight. That changed to sleet, freezing rain, rain which made one heck of a mess out of my driveway. I'm sure that trails will get really messed up if sleds get out on them while they are this soft.

We received about 3 inches of snow, some sleet and a little bit of rain. The trails will be in great shape.

We groomed all of Corridor 15 and Red Hill Saturday, Sun and today. They should firm up well with the little bit of liquid we received.

At the end of the event the total was +1.5" of "white stuff" in Meredith. I'm sure snow pack was condensed but nothing was lost. Mositure was added to the 15" of snow received over the previous three days. This event will definitely help the trails. Certainly not the washout it looked like it was going to be 5 days ago...

Noticed a few of the ski slopes were closed due to conditions. I'm sure the rain made the slopes and ski trails a bit tricky.
My wife took the week off and was planning on doing some skiing. Not today anyway....
