Default Best place for boat storage?

Which place do people recommend for economical winter boat storage? We live on Moultonboro Neck Rd and have an older 17 foot outboard boat. We don't own a boat trailer.

Thanks for your recommendations.

Default Trailering

It seems to me that it is a little late in the winter to be asking this question. But, there is always next year.

If you have a place to store it, a used trailer can be found on Craigslist for $500 or less. It is a relatively small and light boat. Almost any vehicle, except a UGO, will tow that.

You could save a lot of money to put it on your own trailer, have someone shrink wrap it and winterize it, and then store it yourself. That savings is especially true if you intend to keep it for a number of years.

But, your situation may be different than that.

Default Older?

What is "older"? If it is a pristine classic, paying for storage, detailing etc may be worth it. If it is just an old boat, I doi as suggested, buy or borrow a trailer and cover it with a tarp. I al,most feel like these answers are obvious, so what are we missing?
