Another Boat Reported Stolen
According to Channel 9 this AM a 27' Donzi, (black) was stolen from Lakeport Landing Marina last Thursday. Security camera's show a white Toyota Tundra with 2 men in it towing the boat away. Did not find a link on WMUR web page yet.

Truck stolen
About that time there was a GMC truck, white, with license number 'PUL TOYS' stolen. I notice the plates at Lakeport Landing at the beginning of the week and I wonder if there is a relation. Could be the Toyota mistaken for the GMC?

That really stinks, but just think about it. If you saw someone pull up to a boat and tow it away you would just think it was theirs.

"Police recovered a boat that was stolen from a Laconia marina more than a year ago, and the boat’s owner is jubilant, even though the boat had been stripped of expensive equipment.“I never thought in my wildest dreams that I’d ever see that boat again,” said David Elkins of Stow, Mass., the owner of a 2007 Donzi boat and trailer that was stolen from the Lakeport Landing Marina on Aug. 7, 2014." Here is the Link

Interesting outcome. Hopefully he can restore it back to new without any issues to the engine/outdrive (freeze damage, etc.).
I wonder if he had insurance on the boat? Almost sounds as if he didn't; considering they would want the boat if the claim was paid. |

Another Boat Reported Stolen
Lucky Guy, truly a rare boat.
Donzi makes it all worthwhile, definitely worth restoring to original. There are cults, BMW, Harley Davidson, and then there is DONZI. Sorry if this is objectionable, I am slightly biased! |
