Default Our State Bird

I finally got a decent picture of our state bird; the Purple Finch. We had a ton of birds today at our feeders and I spotted this Purple Finch hiding in our Lilac bush.

Nice photo Paul but I thought the state bird was the black fly..or was it the giant mosquitos?

The way we are going, maybe the turkey would be better. A very smart bird but you never know what they are going to do.

..and educational.. I thought the state bird was the Chickadee.. lucky thing I wasn't on Jeopardy with the question : NH's State bird
